All of the time and money that you put into piecing a top is certainly an investment. After the top is done, the backing and batting need to be purchased as well. It is important to be mindful that the quality of the quilting is equally important to enhance the finished product.
Pricing for machine quilting is based on the size of your top and the type of quilting desired.
For my quilting services, I charge by the square inch. To calculate, multiply the length x width = total square inches then multiply by cost below … example 80″ x 100″ = 8,000 x .016 = $128.
Please contact me if your quilt is King size or very large.
All over, edge-to-edge designs or free-motion quilting .020 per square inch
Complex or intricate all over, edge-to-edge designs or free-motion quilting
.025 per square inch
Custom quilting: .030 per square inch & up
Custom includes, but is not limited to, complex or multiple designs, separate borders, changes in thread colors, extensive stitch-in-the-ditch or ruler work, etc.

Batting Available .25 per linear inch

Memory quilt construction pricing is based on time and materials
Additional charges may apply for labor, pressing, squaring up, seaming backs, etc.
